Times of the day

12 a.m. what time is it

A day is approximately the period during which the Earth completes one rotation around its axis,[1] which takes about 24 hours.[2] A solar day is the time between the Sun reaching its highest point in the sky twice in succession.[3] Days on other planets are similarly defined and vary in length due to different periods of rotation, with Mars’ being slightly longer and sometimes called a sol.

Also called the sidereal day, it is the span between two successive transits of the mid-equinox or, equivalently, it is the span between two successive culminations of a star at the local meridian. For a given observer the sidereal day begins when the Aries point crosses its meridian.

On the other hand, a distinction must be made between the period of rotation of the Earth with respect to the stars and the sidereal day itself. Since the mid-equinox is a moving point due to precession, the sidereal day is 0.0084 seconds shorter than the rotational period with respect to the stars.

When it is 12 a.m. and 12 p.m.

The 24-hour time system is a convention of time measurement in which the day runs from midnight to midnight and is divided into 24 hours, indicated by the number of hours counted from midnight, from 0 to 23 (although midnight is also often noted with 24 instead of 0). This system is the most widely used time notation system in the world today.

The 24-hour time system has been used for centuries, mainly by scientists, astronomers, navigators and horologists. Several clocks using the 24-hour system have survived to the present day, including the famous Orloj in Prague, and the Shepherd gate clock at Greenwich.

Knowing how to express the time is one of the fundamental steps in learning a foreign language. Let’s learn: Time, the way it is asked and the way it is expressed, to be able to give and ask for the simplest of information!

Hello! as you see I am writing to you from Istanbul to tell you something…Last year I went to Granada to learn Spanish..there I went to the school called İMSOL..I liked it very much..the school was very good and I adapted very well.my teachers are excellent, the courses are interesting and my classmates are very nice…Well, so much to write….

When I think about my time studying in this school, it makes me very happy. Not only because it evokes good memories of my time in Granada (and Andalusia in general), but also because of the friendly atmosphere that the school exudes. Studying at iNMSOL didn’t feel like work, it was a pleasure….
